Contact us

Tell us your device, its iOS, iPadOS or macOS version and the app version (in the app’s settings). We answer by email. We cannot give medical advice.

Purchases and Pro

How do I restore my purchase?

On a new device, after reinstalling, or on another iPhone, iPad or Mac signed in to the same Apple Account, open the Pro screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases. There is no account of ours to sign in to; Pro is tied to your Apple Account.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Apple manages the subscription. On iPhone and iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Biohack Evolve. On Mac: App Store → your account → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

Can I get a refund?

Apple handles all billing and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple Account you used to subscribe.

Face ID lock

How do I turn on the Face ID lock?

Turn on the app lock in the app’s settings. From then on the app asks for Face ID (Touch ID or your login password on Mac) when it opens. The app only receives a yes or no from the system and never sees your biometric data.

Face ID is not letting me in.

Use the passcode option on the same screen: your device passcode always works as the fallback, so you are never locked out. If you turned Face ID off for Biohack Evolve, turn it back on in Settings → Face ID & Passcode → Other Apps. We cannot unlock the app for you: the lock is your device’s own security.

Doctor Report

How do I export the Doctor Report?

Open Doctor Report (it is also one tap away from the doctor-discussion banner), check what it contains, then tap Share. Save it as a PDF to Files, print it, AirDrop it or send it with Mail. The report includes your profile, stack, recent intake, the flags the app showed and the audit log. It is created on your device and goes only where you send it.

What is the audit log?

A record of what the app showed you, from which inputs and with which references, for example each intake check and the flags it displayed. It is stored on your device and included in the Doctor Report so your doctor can see where each piece of information came from.

Data, backup and moving devices

How do I back up my data or move it to a new device?

Your data lives only on your device; there is no account or cloud sync of ours. App data is part of your device’s own backup, so restoring an iCloud Backup or computer backup to a new iPhone or iPad, or using Quick Start, brings it along. On Mac, Time Machine backs up the app’s data with the rest of your user folder.

Each device keeps its own data: your iPhone, iPad and Mac do not sync with each other. Your Pro subscription works on each of them with Restore Purchases. To bring your information to your doctor from any device, export the Doctor Report.

How do I delete my data?

You can edit or clear entries in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes all of its data from iPhone and iPad. On Mac, deleting the app may leave its data folder in your user Library; remove the Biohack Evolve folder under ~/Library/Containers or ~/Library/Application Support to erase it. We hold no copy of your data.

General

Is this medical advice?

No. Biohack Evolve provides educational information to prepare you for a conversation with your doctor. It does not diagnose or treat anything, and nothing in it is a recommendation to take any substance.

A flag looks wrong, or something is missing.

Tell us at the address above, with the entry and what you expected. Flags come from the cited references and what you entered, and they are not complete: no flag does not mean something is right for you. Always check with your doctor.

Does the app need the internet?

No. Every feature works offline. The app contacts Apple only for purchases and subscription status.
